Information about Georgia Milestone Testing below:
Standardized state tests are given to measure how well students have learned content based on the state-adopted content standards in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Results for these tests are used to determine where students may need additional or accelerated learning opportunities, as well as for school and district accountability. This year, third through fifth graders will participate in Georgia Milestones testing, which replaces the CRCT. The Milestones testing dates are April 16- May 1, 2015. All students will not be tested every day of the testing period. For more about the Georgia Milestones, view these items: Milestones Q and A and Parent's Guide to New Tests in GA.Our teachers are working hard to make sure our students are prepared for the Milestones Assessments.
