Reading & Writing-
We will finish our poetry and drama reading assessment. We will begin a unit on folktales, legends, fables, and myths. We will incorporate this with our Georgia Milestone review in both reading and writing. Please refer to my website to help your child be successful on Georgia Milestones:

Science-We will have our heat assessment on Thursday. I sent home a vocabulary quiz and a review for the assessment last week. This is very difficult unit with difficult vocabulary. Math-We will finish the geometry assessment this week and begin a unit on measurement. This is a difficult unit with a lot of vocabulary. Much of this is difficult
because it is something they don't use often in math or everyday life, they often forget. Your child will be learning about customary and metric units of measure for weight, capacity, measuring, thermometers, and time, They will also be expected to answer complex word problems containing all these units of measurement...so, we will have our hands full this last month before Georgia Milestones
