Dear Amazing Parents!
A big huge thank you to Alyssa Siegel for volunteering to be our chaperon when we went to Warbington Farms! We all had a wonderful time learning about planting strawberries, learning about the work of honey bees, petting goats, hay ride to see bulls, cows, and baby calves, jumping in a corn pit, and playing on the huge playground. The students had a great time and learned so much!
Also, a big, big thank you to our adoptive parents of Ms. Lamaster (our tadpole), Madhulika Singh, Sachi's family. Sachi is now the proud adoptive parent of our rather leggy tadpole and will be returned safe and sound after spring break. Thank you Singh family!! Teach her some tricks :)
This Week and Upcoming Events:
Writing & Reading: We finished our science notebooks and will begin opinion writing. This will overlap with our character unit in reading as we write our opinion on the character as we continue to read across book series with the same character. This will be an in depth look where we analyze the character traits of main and supporting characters in our stories.
On Friday we were lucky enough to have a published author, Sherry Crelin, who has written many books, but shared My Chickens Lay Eggs
