Dear Amazing Parents,
We made it through our 2nd week!!
What a busy week your child has had!
Mrs. Lemons sent this change to our calendar: At tonight’s Board meeting, a revision to this year’s school calendar was made. Here is a link to the Board item.
Information & Reminders:
2. Be truthful with self, classmates, and teachers.
3. Be trustworthy. Be ready when class starts without the teacher having to ask. When working in a group do your fair share of work for the team.
4. Use active listening. When someone is talking please listen with your eyes, ears, and heart.
5. Be respectful/no put downs. Follow the golden rule: Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
6. Nothing but your personal best will be accepted. Take your time. Think long and hard...the quickest way is not always the best. No ripped/wrinkled papers, check your spelling, use complete sentences, reread sentences to make sure they make sense. Read and follow the directions carefully.
7. Take pride in your school. We have a great school full of super teachers, administrators, and students. You are a class act...act like it :)
8. Communication-emailing me is the best way to communicate with me; however, I don't have any breaks after 9:25, so if you need an immediate response, I might not be able to respond until after school. If your child is going home a different way, please email me and the front office about the change in transportation ASAP.

Mrs. Lemons sent this change to our calendar: At tonight’s Board meeting, a revision to this year’s school calendar was made. Here is a link to the Board item.
- Change Tuesday, November 6, 2018 to a Teacher Work Day. This is currently a regular school day.
- Change Friday, March 8, 2019 to a regular school day. This is currently a Teacher Work Day. This revision will not change the total number of instruction days for students.
Information & Reminders:
- Graded papers will go home on Thursday. Please look these over & review with your child. Assessments are kept in a cumulative student folder that travels to the next grade level with your child, so these tests will need to be returned to school.
- Absences & change of transportation: When your child leaves early, or is absent, please send in a written note or email me in the AM to: [email protected] & [email protected]
- Agendas & Homework: Students will be responsible for copying homework assignments in their agendas daily. Test dates are announced a week in advance to provide your child ample time to study.
- Students are expected to read at least 10 minutes each night. Please record what your child is reading and initial. I begin to give out rewards for having these filled out for the week.
- We have spent a lot of time discussing rules, procedures, and classroom lifeskill/character guidelines. You might want to review these with your child:
