Hi Parents,
Next week is a big week for the students. We will start Monday with ITBS. This is the students first exposure with standardized testing. They will need breakfast in the morning and plenty of rest each night. Please remember no parents in the building during testing.
I sent home a paper bag with a fairy tale assignment. Since we are starting a fairy tale, myths, & legends unit I thought it would be a fun activity to have the students read a fairy tale, place three items that they find at home that represent their fairy tale or character in the bag (Goldilocks-a bowl and a spoon). They need to write 3 character traits about their character. For example...she wears a glass slipper. She needs to be home by midnight. I have this due by Friday, but I thought as the students finished they could bring them in and we could play, "Guess the Fairy Tale Character"
If you have Ms. Lamaster for math:
I still have a few students that haven't finished last weeks assignments (D.18, D.20, D.25)
We continue to study multiplication and division. I won't be teaching math this week since we have ITBS testing all week. I don't want to assign homework but here are some activities your child can work on throughout the week:

Also, these IXL assignments are just good logical reasoning and practice activities of math skills we are learning:
