Hello Wonderful Parents,
We talked about this at the beginning of the year, but I wanted to remind you that this is a great website full of fun math activities forfor you to do with your children:
Bedtime Math. It is a great site on which you can locate fun mathematics activities for elementary school and middle school students. The activities are designed for students to do at home with their parents. The Bedtime Math activities incorporate common household objects. Today's lesson is about the comparative values
Calling all INTERNATIONAL NIGHT participants:

Exciting News for all of our families – all Fulton County Students will now have the ability to download Office 365 on up to 5 devices at home! The student login information is their school ID # (lunch card #) and their password is their birthdate, 2 digits for month, 2 digits for day, and 4 digits for the year. For example, 02142006 = February 14, 2006. What is great about this is that students can start their power point at school, log onto Office 365, retrieve their saved material, and work on it at home.
Don't forget spring pictures 2/23. Information was sent home last week if you were interested in ordering pictures.

This week in Reading/English/Language Arts
We continue to study adjectives and informational writing. We are preparing for our reading assessment the week of February 29th. We will look at using dictionary and glossaries while reading from our informational text. We will begin a group opinion writing project. The winner will present their opinion piece on our morning new/announcements.
In science we started a heat unit and we saw how heated molecules expand when we heated up marshmallows. The students are learning how convection, conduction, and radiation are different.
If you have Ms. Lamaster for math:
We will have our math test over Geometry on Wednesday. Then we will start measurement and data.
