Hello Wonderful Parents,
Congratulations to Austin Anderson, Madison Campbell, Sierra Healy, Sophia Long, and Jeremy Santoso. They all did an absolutely fantastic job presenting for our Student Council. It was a very difficult decision! Everyone received many votes, but the winner was Bradey Johnston & our runner-up was Gabi Gravranovic--congratulations
It has been wonderful meeting with you and discussing your child's progress in 3rd grade. Sometimes it takes a village to help each student succeed :) If you haven't signed up for a parent/teacher conference, please sign-up on this website:

Just a few reminders:
*I am still missing a few field trip permission slips. I have to have these slips and $ collected this week.
*Field Trip-10/7: I will have your child's field trip shirt at school for them to wear that day.
*I am still missing a few technology forms. These forms give your child permission to use the iPads and computer programs that were listed on the back of the form.
If you are in Ms. Lamaster's math class:
The students did a fantastic job on their Unit 1 test. They also took a quiz over basic facts relating to Numbers in Base Ten, addition & subtraction.
We are starting Unit 2 with Numbers & Operations. This includes multiplication and division, which means we will be taking timed tests over multiplication. Multiplication facts are vital to learn division, fractions, and many other related concepts, so it is important they know their facts. We will be spending a lot of time making sure they know their facts. In addition to our IXL homework we will begin to use the skills we are learning to write math real-world problems. Students learn so much more when they have to be the creator and then share these with other students. The students love to solve other these too!
Monday: 4th grade IXL D.1
Wednesday: 4th grade IXL D.2
Friday: 4th grade IXL D.3
Have a wonderful week!
