Dear Amazing Parents,
Well it is that time of year when I pass the torch on and your child now becomes a big 3rd grader. I have enjoyed getting to know each child's unique personality and see the good qualities that often aren't graded on a report card. We have worked hard to make them all be the best that they can be!
As you have more time over the summer make time to play family games, make ice cream, build forts, watch the sunset together do crazy experiments, have a cooking competition, read together, and just enjoy this time with your child because they grow up quick.
As I was making this video it brought back so many memories of good times in our classroom. This is a private video and only people who have the link can view it. Enjoy!

Lastly, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done to support your child through this crazy time of teleschooling. This was a joint effort and I couldn't have done it without you hard work and effort at home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
One last thing if you missed this from Mrs. Lemon's email this morning:
https://www.fultonschools.org/Page/18471
This outlines essential skills in Reading/English Language Arts and Mathematics
to ensure students are prepared for success in the next grade level.
Parent Guides for Student Success have been created for each grade level to
provide resources and activities for development and enrichment of the
essential skills. This is especially important after this experience. Please
consider getting this don’t this summer!
Have a wonderful summer and best of luck to the 2nd grade graduate.
My best always,
Laura
