Dear Wonderful Parents!
Finally we see the sun! Hopefully this will last through the weekend.
Curriculum:
Science: We have started our Life Cycle projects. They are making a puzzle (I have the template) or a game using at least 10 questions from 2 different types of life cycles (plant or animal). I want them to take their time and do a good job. This isn't something to rush through. Their homework tonight is to complete their first 10 questions for their animal or plant life cycle. I conferenced with several students, but will be meeting next week with each student to make sure they are on track with this project.
I told them if they finish these projects and want to select another project to do they need to ask me first, but as long as it is something reasonable and they are learning, I should be good with it.
English/Writing: The students have been learning about opinion writing. This week we wrote about the characters in the book we are reading together: Saving Shiloh.
